Braided lines are being used for hundreds of years back and they consist of multiple woven fibers that are combined together. Moreover they are bulky and thick in previous days but they are thinner and less visible in water. Some of the braided lines are unfused and softer with much strength.

When we have learnt all about fishing lines and fishing reels we can go for stringing the fishing rod nicely but before that we will follow the procedure step by step so that we can perform stringing accurately.

Step1. First put the spool of new reel on the floor. The end of lines to be passed through all the eyelets on your fishing rod. Make ensure that the lines go through each of eyelets and should not miss any eyelet.

Step2. Tie the end of new line to the bobber of your fishing reel after you have removed the old line may be on it. Make sure that the bail is open in case of a spinning reel and when you begin to reel it will close to catch the line that is very important.

Step3. Please grab the new line with your left hand above the reel and hold it so that there is some tension when you turn the reel with right hand. Slowly reel the new line onto the rod with your right hand. Make sure that you keep tension on it as it goes down to the rod and then reel those winds tightly.

Step4. Keep reeling until there is at least 50 yards of line in the reel deposited. On a typical reel you need not reel more than this amount. You can easily measure the circumference of the bobber by a measuring tape and finally you can measure the whole length by calculation. For example if one turn bobber is 3 inches then 12 turns will be one yard.

Step5. Cut about 2 feet of the new line from the end of the last eyelet on your rod tip. Put a swivel and a hook on the line with the help of a fisherman’s knot. So that it may not run back through the eyelets.
